How SwitchLinks handles information about creators and visitors, what we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.

1. Overview

This policy explains what information SwitchLinks (operated by Switch Technologies) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: creators who build pages, and visitors who view creator pages, click links, or use voice chat.

2. Information we collect from creators

  • Account details from your sign-in provider, such as your name and email address.
  • Everything you add to your page: photos, videos, bio, links, titles, colors, and settings.
  • Payment account details needed to route payments to you, handled through Stripe.

3. Information we collect from visitors

When you visit a creator page or click a link, we collect analytics so the creator can understand their audience:

  • Approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your network address.
  • Device type, brand and model, browser, operating system, and language.
  • How you arrived (referrer and campaign tags) and what you clicked.
  • A pseudonymous visitor identifier derived from your network address and browser, used to count unique visitors and repeat visits. We do not store your raw network address in analytics events.
  • Whether the visit looks automated (bot detection).

If you confirm you are 18 or older on an age gate, we remember that choice so you are not asked again on every click.

If you enter your email in a creator's signup box, that email is collected for that creator.

4. Voice chat

If you use the AI voice chat on a creator page, your audio is processed by our AI voice providers to generate responses, and conversations may be recorded and transcribed. Transcripts may be visible to the creator whose page you used and to us for safety, quality, and product improvement.

Do not share sensitive personal information in voice chats.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment and basic details such as the amount and what was purchased. We do not store full card numbers.

6. Cookies and tracking pixels

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as an age gate confirmation, and measure how the service is used.

Creators can attach their own tracking pixels to their page, such as Meta, TikTok, Snap, or Google Analytics. When you visit a page with a pixel, that provider may collect data about your visit under its own privacy policy. Those pixels are configured by the creator, not by us.

Outgoing links may include tracking parameters (for example utm_source) so creators can attribute their traffic.

7. How we use information

  • To run the service: hosting pages, redirecting links, processing payments, and providing voice chat.
  • To show creators analytics about their own pages.
  • To keep the platform safe: detecting bots, abuse, and violations of our Content Policy.
  • To improve the product and fix problems.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

8. Who we share information with

  • Service providers that power the platform, including hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Supabase), AI voice providers, and payments (Stripe). They process data only to provide their service to us.
  • Creators, who see analytics about visits and clicks on their own pages, emails collected through their own signup box, and transcripts of voice chats on their own pages.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect people from serious harm.

9. Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Analytics events are kept so creators can view historical performance. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we delete or anonymize personal information unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@switchlinks.ai and we will respond within the time the law requires.

You can also clear cookies in your browser and use tracking protection; the service will still work, though some features such as staying signed in will not.

11. Age restriction

SwitchLinks is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a person under 18 has used the service, we will delete their information.

12. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong sign-in method.

13. International transfers

Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give notice through the service.
